"Once we were humans, capable of marvelous things. Once we were the screaming wild prophets of the lowland and the unpolished artists of a universe we knew as ours. We were lovers. Poets. Once we were runners..."
"In The Streets" is moments and observations from different places, different people and different times.
It's a walk through life in black & white to the sound of "To Let Myself Go" (Ane Brun / Keyhan DM Rework).
Exposed and disclosed.
For some reason I have always known. And for some reason I never went. Until now.
Surfers Beach in Biarritz is where ocean meets land like heart meets soul. It's one of those few places you never want to leave, one you'll never forget, and one who never leaves you.
Spending a month in the country side of Sweden, something I haven't done for a very long time.

"Odds & Ends" is the result of my ambition to carry my camera with me at all times.
It's a mix of my everyday search for the light. Ongoing and growing.
- Because there is a light. Always.
Ps. Prints are available on demand.
In May I got the honors to photograph new profile images for Instructor and Health Coach Louise Stapel.
After a full day of of lights, laughter and magic, we ended up with almost 30 images in total. A good day indeed!
The ones shown here are just a selection.
Taken during the yearly festival 'Es Firó' in Sóller [Majorca, 2016].
Gosharp is an online store (with the possibility to subscribe) opening by the end of March 2016.
Led by their slogan "Man's gotta have it!" they will offer products men need in their everyday life. Everything from shaving to nutrition.
And in all their preparations with the site, I got the honor to do their profile images.
One day of shooting meant a lot of planning and in the end we got a lot of photos. It was a good day with good people.
In its innocence and tranquility.
When everything is possible and nothing stands in its way. When hatred still sleeps and wars are forgotten. When we're equally naked and when its God judges no one.
I love America in the morning.
In its forever shining visions.
When we meet in the window, in the streets and at the diner. When we greet as old friends and happy strangers. When everything is as it used to be and when the day still holds hope.
I love America in the morning.
When I still remember the dreams we once shared.
("I Love America In The Morning" is an art project shot on different locations in Florida in May 2015, using only an iPhone and the Hipstamatic app).
I met a unicorn today.
I stepped off track to gain her trust. I circled around and below to offer her the higher place. I kept my distance to offer my scent.
She stepped closer, while I kneeled.
I met a unicorn today.
Every year the town of Sóller, Majorca, celebrates their patron saint 'Sant Bartomeu', and every year the show group 'Esclatabutzes' puts on an amazing show of devils, dragons and fire.
- It is called 'Nit de Foc' (Night of Fire) and it is loud, smelly and spectacular.
I had the opportunity to followed them in their preparation to their demonic entrance, where they transform the square to 'Hell on Earth' with their dancing devils, devil soldiers, trolls and dragons.
And to the nights big infernal climax of fire works, fire works and more fire works.
In the process of renewing their web page the talented crew of Beminded made the choice of starting with portraits.
A good choice and I'm honored by the trust the gave me. It was a great day. A great day indeed.
This my everyday companion. She's beside me more or less all the time. Two feet away when I work, on all my travels and all my hikes. And whenever I'm in doubt, she is a great listener.
Her name is 'Kajsa' and she's also our dog.
Ps. She's also very talented and helpful when it comes to checking the light. There's literally hundreds of photos of her helping out, spread across almost every project, but this is her acting as a model, not an assistant.

"Someday I'll ride again, with all those pretty horses..."
A complete new series of portraits and profile images for brilliant and talented Mariana Grabos of Kognitiv Mottagning in Strängnäs (SWE).
It's Paris, it has to be in black and white.
I got invited to portray the activities of the Earth Yoga Studio in Palma, Majorca. This is a selection of the work we did that day.
A selection in black & white.
A selection of color images.
A selection of work from a selection of clients.
A selection of black and white images with a shadow theme.
"A night of art with international and local artists".
I was invited to show my work at 'Nit de l'Art' in Biniaraix, Majorca, in August 2015. These are the images shown at that night, all of them available in the online store.

Part of the serie 'In Search of The Light’. Limited edition. 45x30 cm.
With this project I wanted to show that even in the darkest of places - or in the darkest of times - there is a light to be found. Since the style is inspired by renaissance paintings, I also find the bible quotes an important layer. Many of them came to mind while shooting, adding a mystery to the scenes which I personally appreciate.
Title and quote in order of appearance:

From Norway to Florida to Mallorca, a journey in black and blue.
I like to experiment with both shadows and silhouettes. It adds both drama and solitude to the images and are in most cases only there for a split second. It's point and shoot, and either you got it or it's already gone.
